The WeCount project

A European Citizen Science project across Europe

WeCount was a European project that enabled citizens to initiate a policy-making process with fully automated measurement data in the field of mobility and air quality.

Check the WeCount website for more information and a summary of the results of the project which ran from 2019 to 2021 and helped to launch the Telraam devices.

WeCount's aim was to empower citizens to take a leading role in the production of data, evidence and knowledge around mobility in their own neighbourhoods, and at street level. The project followed participatory citizen science methods with Telraam and multi-stakeholder engagement mechanisms in 5 pilot projects in Madrid, Ljubljana, Dublin, Cardiff and Leuven.
