Connecting to the Telraam v1 hotspot fails

Purpose of this article?

During installation, Telraam's Wi-Fi is visible on your mobile device or computer but you can't connect. If you go to my.telraam.net (or 192.168.254.1) on your mobile device, and you get the message below, then your mobile device is not connected to your Telraam:

Step 1 - turn WiFi on your phone off and on

Since you are not connected to the internet (with your phone/tablet) when you are connected to your Telraam hotspot (with this phone/tablet), your phone may automatically reconnect to your home Wi-Fi connection.

1️⃣    Turn off the automatic Wi-Fi connection on your mobile device. Then you can reconnect to your Telraam.

2️⃣    Try to connect to your Telraams hotspot. Follow the steps in this article: (Re-)connect with my Telraam device through the hotspot

 

Step 2 - Connect to the Telraam hotspot with another device

3️⃣    Problem still not solved? Try connecting to Telraam's Wi-Fi with another device (phone, mobile device). Follow the steps in this article: (Re-)connect with my Telraam device through the hotspot.

 

Step 3 - Unplug and plug in your Telraam

Problem still not solved? Follow this step. If there are many devices active on your wifi, the connection may take longer or be more difficult.

4️⃣    Unplug your Telraams adapter and plug it back in. Follow the steps in this article: (Re-)connect with my Telraam device through the hotspot
