Step 1 - WiFi related problems

1️⃣    Your password might not be correct: (Re-)connect with my Telraam device through the hotspot and try again to fill in your WiFi credentials. Watch out: a typo can be enough to fail the installation.

2️⃣   Your trying to connect with a WiFi network not suitable for Telraam:

Netwerk compatible with Telraam:

- Netwerk with 2.4 GHz wifi band *
- WPA2 security protocol
- with PSK (pre shared key = password)

Netwerk incompatible with Telraam:

- Network with 5.0 GHz wifi band *
- open networks (networks without security)
- networks that require logging in with a landing page
- mesh networks
- eap networks like TelenetWifree or Proximus Public Wi-Fi (both examples in Belgium)
- ...

Most modems transmit both frequency bands, then you can manually choose for each device whether you want it on the 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz network.

You may have an Internet modem that shows only one network name (=Service Set IDentifier=SSID). This 'smart' modem chooses for you on which frequency (2.4 or 5.0 GHz) it connects the devices, but does not know that Telraam does not work properly on 5.0 GHz. If you want your Telraam to work stably, you will have to disable this 'smart' feature and so you can manually select the 2.4 GHz network when connecting your Telraam to the Internet.

Step 2 - Serial number is wrong

2️⃣     Check again of the serial number of your Telraam is the same as the one you wrote down during the installation.

➡️    How to check your serial number? See article "Verify serial number"

➡️    How to check the serialnumber your wrote down in your dashboard during the installation? Go to www.telraam.net < log in < open dashboard < open setup < scroll down until 'serial number' < adjust if necessary

Step 3 - Did you complete all the installation steps?

3️⃣    Check if you completed all the installation steps on your dashboard and if you got this message.
