Check or update the camera view (Telraam v1)

You may need to review the images your Telraam device is using to measure passing traffic if there is an issue:

You may have received a message saying that the received images are not adequate

You’ve noticed that the image is no longer displaying

You need to reposition the camera after an incident

The data doesn't seem accurate and you want to review the image or camera angle

What do I need?

    Access to the Telraam device

A separate device that can connect to the internet/wifi (such as a computer, mobile phone or tablet)

Check the daily image

You can review the image used by Telraam for your device on your dashboard. You will see the current daily pixelated image, and an archive of 10 previous images (to see any recent change), on your dashboard.

1️⃣    Go to www.telraam.net

2️⃣    Log in

3️⃣   Go to your dashboard

4️⃣   Go to "camera images". Here you will find the pixelated image. For more info on the daily background image, see the following article: Background image

❗️  If you need to upgrade your Telraam software to the latest version (v11c), please follow the instructions here: "Updating the Telraam software by yourself".

Live image and repositioning your camera

1️⃣    Connect to the Telraam hotspot. Follow these steps and/ or see the FAQ article: (Re-)connect with my Telraam device through the hotspot:

Reboot the Telraam: unplug it and plug it back in

➙   Check if a red light turns on

➙   Check if a green light is blinking (next to the red one) for +-20sec

➙   Take a phone/tablet and open the wifi settings

➙   Choose network "TELRAAM"

➙   Enter the password "TelraamTelraam"

Once connected, you'll get the message you are not connected to the internet anymore. This is normal.

➙   Open an internetbrowser on the same device (chrome, firefox, ...)

➙   Go to my.telraam.net or http://192.168.254.1.

➙   Select your language

Congrats, you are now connected to your Telraams hotspot

2️⃣  Reposition the camera if necessary. Watch this video to see the repositioning of the camera:

❗️    On some Telraam devices, the hinge point can sometimes be too loose caused by heat which causes the camera to fall forward. You can solve this problem by putting a drop of glue on the hinge when it is in the right position.

❗️    If you have a 3D printed camera holder from Telraam, you can also adjust the camera position by loosening the screws, then tightening again the correct position:

If the image doesn’t appear on my.telraam.net then follow the instructions here: "I cannot see any camera images on my.telraam.net"

❌   If you have been unable to retrieve the correct image of your Telraam or if there is still a problem with your camera, send us an email: support@telraam.net.
