The network dashboard includes a lot of information on your users. Have a look at the "user" tab and open each user to find even more information. You'll find (1) the device status, (2) the detailed device status, (3) the set-up installation steps and info on (4) the first and last data package. Below are each of these statuses explained in detail.
1️⃣ Device status
📍 Understand journey of user
In the user overview of your network dashboard there are statuses next to every user, called the device status. It shows the status to understand the journey of the user in general.
🔍 Overview and meaning
To start | The user hasn’t started the installation yet in their dashboard. |
Installing
| The user has started the installation in their dashboard, but hasn’t finished it yet. |
Installed, but no counts yet
| The user has finished the installation in their dashboard, but there aren't any counts yet. Most common causes are: no/wrong serial number inserted during installation in the dashboard, no wifi connection (wrong password). |
Is counting
| The user finished the installation in their dashboard successfully and the Telraam is counting. |
Counted before
| The user finished the installation in their dashboard successfully, the Telraam has counted in the past but is not currently counting. |
Stopped
| The Telraam stopped counting, because the user completed the outboarding form, or the Telraam has been used for a new installation (by the same or diff. user), or the user installed a new Telraam. |
2️⃣ Detailed device status
📍 Understand the device status
The detailed device status, available when the device status is "Is counting", "Counted before" and "stopped", can be seen in the specific user in the installation tab. It shows a detailed status to understand the device status more in detail.
🔍 Overview and meaning
Is counting | |
Became active
| The Telraam device has started counting and a first data package has been received in the backend. This status is only there the first 5 min. after a device starts counting. |
Instance is active
| 5 min. after the Telraam device becomes active, the status is changed to "Instance is active". |
Problematic
| The Telraam device has not detected any objects in the last 24h, but it did send data to say that it's alive. This is set once every day at 22h UTC. Possible causes are, for example, a camera angle that is not right, curtains that are closed, ... |
Active after being non active | The Telraam device is counting again after being non active. |
Active after problematic | The Telraam device is counting again after being problematic. |
Counted before | |
Non active 1+ day
| The Telraam device has not been active for 24h (asynchronous automatic process, so could be a little bit more). |
Non active 1+ week
| The Telraam device has not been active for 1 week (asynchronous automatic process, so could be a little bit more). |
Non active 2+ weeks
| The Telraam device has not been active for 2 weeks (asynchronous automatic process, so could be a little bit more). |
Non active 3+ weeks
| The Telraam device has not been active for 3 weeks (asynchronous automatic process, so could be a little bit more). |
Non active 4+ weeks
| The Telraam device has not been active for 4 weeks (asynchronous automatic process, so could be a little bit more). |
Stopped | |
Same user & segment
| The Telraam device stopped counting because of a new installation of the same Telraam (hence, installation with this identical serial number) by the same user on the same segment. |
Diff. user & segment
| The Telraam device stopped counting because of a new installation of the same Telraam (hence, installation with this identical serial number) by a different user on a different segment. |
Same user & diff. segment
| The Telraam device stopped counting because of a new installation of the same Telraam (hence, installation with this identical serial number) by the same user on a different segment. |
Diff. user & same segment
| The Telraam device stopped counting because of a new installation of the same Telraam (hence, installation with this identical serial number) by a different user on the same segment. |
Different device
| The Telraam device stopped counting because of a new installation of a different Telraam (hence, installation with a new serial number) by the same user on the same segment. |
Outboarded
| The Telraam device stopped counting because the user completed the outboarding form. |
Reason unknown
| The Telraam device stopped counting. The reason why is unknown or when no reason was given (in the backend) when the Telraam device stopped counting. |
3️⃣ Set-up (installation) steps
📍 Understand the progress of the user during the installation process
The set-up installation steps, available for the device status "installing", can be seen in the specific user in the installation tab. It shows where the user is in their installationjourney.
🔍 Overview and meaning
Note: the steps are different for the installation of the V1 sensor and the new S2 sensor.
Not yet started | User has not started the installation yet (in their dashboard). |
v1 Address
| This step is never visible to the administrator. It is never set because we don’t know if the user simply clicked on “start set-up” to have a look or to really start the set-up. Just because they clicked on "set-up" doesn’t have to mean that they want to start the set-up. Statuses are only assigned after set-up step 1. |
v1 Device ready
| User is in step 2 (Device ready) of the installation of a Telraam v1. |
v1 Coordinates
| User is in step 3 (coordinates) of the installation of a Telraam v1. |
v1 Preparations
| User is in step 4 (Preparation) of the installation of a Telraam v1. |
v1 Fix and install
| User is in step 5 (Fix and install) of the installation of a Telraam v1. |
v1 Register
| User is in step 6 (Register) of the installation of a Telraam v1. |
v1 Ready | User is in step 7 (Ready) of the installation of a Telraam v1. |
S2 | |

v2 Claim device
| This step is never visible to the administrator. It is never set because we don’t know if the user simply clicked on “start set-up” to have a look or to really start the set-up. Just because they clicked on "set-up" doesn’t have to mean that they want to start the set-up. Statuses are only assigned after set-up step 1. |
v2 Address
| User is in step 2 (Address) of the installation of a Telraam S2. |
v2 Window
| User is in step 3 (Which window) of the installation of a Telraam S2. |
v2 Attach
| User is in step 4 (Hang it up) of the installation of a Telraam S2. |
v2 Location
| User is in step 5 (Location) of the installation of a Telraam S2. |

4️⃣ First and last data package
📍 The date of the first and last data sent by by the Telraam device
When the device status is "Is counting", you can see two dates below the device status. The first one refers to when we received the first data (ever) from this Telraam installation. The second date (and time) refers to the last time we received data from this Telraam installation.
