Telraam Data License: What can I do with the Telraam data?

How can you use the Telraam data?

All Telraam data are available under a CC-BY-NC license. That means you can use, adapt and publish data freely for non-commercial purposes. We opt to limit to a non-commercial license to allow our participating citizens to co-benefit if 3rd parties develop a commercial application or product using Telraam data. However, our default position is to share data with private individuals, companies and authorities freely for whatever purpose. If you have questions about what you plan to do with the Telraam data or whether you might violate the non-commercial character of the license, contact us via info@telraam.net

To be clear, we invite everyone to explore commercial or non-commercial opportunities with Telraam data; we only want our efforts and those of our participating citizens to be rewarded fairly if there's a commercial success. So, don't let the -NC postfix (Non Commercial at the end of the "CC-BY-NC license") discourage you. Use our data, explore and contact us if there's an opportunity for commercial application.
